Aside from random sightings, paparazzi shots and purported insider accounts, not much is known about Taylor Swift’s romantic relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

The couple has never given show biz observers anything to talk about since they started dating secretly last year. And they prefer that things stay that way.

In a recent interview, British Vogue tried to ask Joe about his romance with the pop star. Not much luck.

“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. We have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people,” stressed Joe, whose movie “The Favourite” premiered at the Venice Film Festival last month. “But I prefer to talk about work.”

Meanwhile, in a 2017 report, People magazine cited an insider source, who claimed that the couple go to great lengths to avoid the public and media’s prying eye.

“If she (Taylor) was seen in England, she made sure everyone thought it was a work trip. Taylor and Joe have tried to be on lockdown and have spent most of their time together in private locations where they could get to know each other without the pressure of a public relationship and people making judgment calls,” the source said.
